From Highway 13 South take exit 2 for Joaquin Miller Road/Lincoln Ave. At the stop sign turn left. You will quickly come to another stop sign. Turn left again (to cross the freeway) onto Lincoln Ave and head up the hill. Lincoln becomes Joaquin Miller Road.
Turn left into the park on Sanborn Drive.
NOTE: at this intersection, the street is called Sanborn on the left side of the road and Robinson on the right.
Drive past the ranger station where you will see a big wooden sign for Woodminster Amphitheater and parking. Turn left here into the lot. This is the parking lot AFTER the ranger station.
After parking your car, walk back toward Joaquin Miller Rd. The park entrance and trail will be on your left. Head down the trail toward the lower meadow area. The trail leads directly into 2 big redwood trees and Baywood picnic site.
From Berkeley take Ashby Ave toward the hills. Pass the Claremont Hotel. Ashby turns into Tunnel Road. At the stoplight at the top of the hill, stay right to merge onto Hwy 13 South/Hayward.
From Walnut Creek take Hwy 24 West through the Caldecott tunnel to Hwy 13 South/Hayward.
From San Francisco take Hwy 80 East across the Bay Bridge toward Oakland. Merge onto 580 East/Stockton.
From Marin take the Richmond Bridge to 580 East/Stockton.
From 580 East, merge onto Hwy 24 East/Walnut Creek. Take exit 5 to merge onto Hwy 13 South/Hayward, just before the tunnel.
From the South Bay take Hwy 880 North. Merge onto I-238 South toward Castro Valley/Stockton. Then merge onto I-580 West, Oakland. Take the exit for CA-13 South.
